Xiaomi Mijia Ironing Machine 2 offers dry steam up to 120 g/min

Water tank capacity is enough to iron around 15 shirts

Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for the new Mijia Ironing Machine 2 ironing system. The product has a recommended retail price of 599 yuan ($90).

The model’s key feature is an electromagnetic pump rated at 500 kPa, alongside dry steam output of up to 120 g/min. Xiaomi says this steam flow penetrates fabric fibres quickly, helping to smooth creases effectively. A dual-heating system allows the appliance to preheat in only 65 seconds and delivers steam without unnecessarily dampening garments. It supports both dry and wet ironing modes, which can be selected according to the material and the task at hand.

Six ironing programmes are available for different fabrics. Its colour display lets users select settings for cotton, linen, silk and synthetic materials.

The Mijia Ironing Machine 2 has a large transparent water tank which, according to the manufacturer, holds enough water for approximately 15 shirts, 10 T-shirts or 5 coats in a single cycle. Xiaomi claims a sterilisation rate of 99.99% and 100% mite removal. At high temperatures over three minutes, the appliance can also help remove persistent odours, including cooking and smoke smells.

Xiaomi also highlights the ceramic glazed soleplate, which it says makes ironing around 20% faster.
